ABOUT

As a child I always drew and from ages seven to seventeen attended Saturday classes at the Maryland Institute College of Art. From there I majored in Painting and Sculpture at Kansas City Art Institute followed by Graphic Design at University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning.

After schools I ventured to Brazil and became an Advertising Art Director, Packaging and Graphic Designer. I loved the tropics and culture but curiosity led me to travel, live and work abroad for altogether twelve years in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Hong Kong, Hamburg, Mexico City, twice in between in New York City, settling in Miami.

I have never stopped drawing or viewing art masters in museums, shows, images. Especially inspiring are Chinese monumental landscape paintings and the tropical flora of adopted homelands. Skills honed in my professions enable me to refine and manipulate my artwork and color palettes to produce spectacular printed murals and wall art.
